Bruno started his career in 1998 as an associate in international law firms in Brazil and later as a Foreign Legal Advisor in London, UK; Jersey Island, Great Britain; and the United States. During 10 years worked as an in-‐house legal counsel at Royal Philips (NYSE: PHG), including a three-‐year experience as EMEA regional Senior Legal Counsel at Royal Philips’ head offices in Amsterdam and Eindhoven, The Netherlands, in numerous roles supporting corporate affairs, consumer electronics, lighting and healthcare businesses. Between 2011 and 2015 served as General Legal Counsel and head of Compliance at Philips in Brazil. Bruno holds relevant experience in M&A, alliances and divestments; Compliance and Business Ethics, including audits and investigations; Corporate Law, Intellectual Property, Softwares and ITC Law and international contracting. In 2015, joined law firm AZFC (Augelli, Zioni e Ferraz de Camargo) Advogados as partner responsible for the M&A, Corporate Governance and Compliance areas.
Member of SCCE -‐ Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics and since 2012 is a certified CCEP – Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional, as well as instructor in Brazil at the compliance preparatory course promoted by LEC – Legal, Ethics & Compliance. Qualified for law practice in Brazil and in the European Union by the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and LLM in International Business Law from Universiteit van Tilburg, The Netherlands, having also studied Business, Finance and Management at INSPER/IBMEC in Brazil and various legal subjects in Harvard Law School and University of Cambridge.
