David is a senior lawyer and reputation management specialist at Edelman.

In addition to being Edelman’s in-house counsel in London, David leads Edelman’s Litigation & Legal Affairs practice which specialises in managing clients’ reputations borne out of legal issues, both those played out in the courtroom and private non-litigious matters. David also advises a standing roster of clients more broadly on their crisis communications and mission critical issues. The organisations that regard David as a trusted advisor include Virgin Atlantic, PwC, Diageo, Lagardère, World Sport Group, Asda, Reignwood Group, Wentworth Club, L Brands and International Crisis Group.
Prior to joining Edelman, David spent eight years as a transactional corporate M&A lawyer at international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. During that time, David was embedded at the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) for a year, advising LOCOG’s board and key stakeholders on several crises and sensitive legal issues during the delivery of London 2012, including the body’s liquidation.
