Dr. Fatma is the co-founder and managing partner of Riad & Riad Law Firm, heading the project finance and dispute resolution group. She has more than 17 years experience in legal practice specialized in complex litigation,, corporate law, project finance, and arbitration. She regularly acts as counsel and arbitrator in ad hoc and institutional arbitrations, and regularly represents multinational and local companies in major restructuring, merger & acquisition transactions and project finance.
Dr. Fatma is a professor of law at Cairo University, and the Institute of International Business Law (IDAI) University of Paris, where she teaches civil and commercial procedures, international arbitration and business law. She was a visiting scholar at George Washington Law School in the USA during the period from 2006 to 2008.
Dr. Fatma holds a Ph.D. in international commercial arbitration, and obtained her Master’s degree in Business Law from George Washington Law School in the USA, and completed her Masters in Private Law and Judicial Sciences from Cairo University.
