After working for over twenty years as a corporate General Counsel, John Lowe now acts as an international arbitrator and mediator. Listed on the panels of major arbitration institutions, he acts as arbitrator in both institutional and ad hoc proceedings applying either civil or common law. Mr. Lowe has worked at companies such asQioptiq, a privately-owned Luxembourg company involved in the development and manufacture of precision photonic products and Alcatel (now Nokia) an international supplier of telecommunications equipment.He is experienced in many legal domains including mergers and acquisitions, finance, insurance, intellectual property and major projects. Mr. Lowe began his career as a diplomat with the US Department of State serving in Mexico, Washington, D.C. and Italy. He has also worked in private practice in Italy, France and the US.
